ACCEL Distinguished Speaker Address
Dr Poelina's presentation includes a short film, ‘Warloongarriy Law First Law’ (20mins). The presentation includes visual poetry to portray the meaning of ‘First Law’. Dr Poelina makes the connection between the beginning of the Anthropocene and the attempts of humans to dominate and control the natural environment through technological and economic advancement which have altered earth and human systems.

PRESS RELEASE - On 6 November 2020, Hon. Ministers Kelly, MacTiernan, Dawson and Wyatt announced the release of the Managing Water in the Fitzroy River Catchment: Discussion paper for stakeholder consultation. The paper is open for public comment until 5pm (WST) on Monday 31 May 2021.
